A design degree, five years of paper and cloth, and a love of scale
Sunanda Tripathi holds a postgraduate degree in design and has spent the last five years turning that training into something you can walk through — giant flowers, gates and backdrops built entirely by hand.
From design training to full-room installations
Sunanda's formal design education shapes the way she approaches every event — thinking in colour palettes, proportion and how a space will actually be photographed, not just how a flower looks up close. Over five years, that eye has been applied to more than 200 individual designs across 80+ events, ranging from a single giant bloom for a birthday table to full stage and mandap installations for weddings.
She works from her studio in Prayagraj and ships and installs pan-India, taking on both budget-conscious and luxury briefs — the scale and material changes, but the hand-built approach doesn't.
Every petal, shaped by hand
Design first
Every piece starts as a concept matched to your event's colours, venue and budget — not picked off a fixed catalogue.
Hand-built
Petals are cut, curled, dyed and layered individually in crepe paper or organza fabric — no machine-made shortcuts.
Full-scale setup
From flower walls to mandap decor to hanging installations, Sunanda designs and installs the complete space, not just a single piece.
